I have only recently found Terkwell James Stanfill and Mary Littlefield
were in Calhoun Co. James and Mary were my ggrandparents. Henry was my
grandfather.I have the 1880 cencus
in Alachua co.Who are you decended from? I have a lot of information
after 1880 and on. I will be glad to share. Just let me know what you
already have.I believe Mary was related to Cheif Tom Tiger cheif of the
Seminoles.

I've just corresponded with Joyce Dunn and she gave me your name as a
researcher of the Littlefields and Owens. I know we have corresponded before
about the Owens, but I didn't know you had a Littlefield connection.
I am descended from Emily Littlefield and her first husband James Riley
Cooper, who died in 1902. Their son Obie Lewis Cooper was my
great-grandfather. After James' death, Emily married Whitman David Owens from
Jackson Co.....and I think you and I have discussed him in the past, but I
can't remember if you are directly descended from him or not. He had been
previously married as well, as you know.
Emily Littlefield's parents were Seth Littlefield and Atchafaliah Land. I
don't know much about Seth, but his parents were Elijah and Elizabeth
Littlefield.
Are these your Littlefields? Please let me know your connection, and I am
very excited to meet others researching this name. Also, where do you live? I
live in Asheville, NC.
