The Barrett/Gordon/Owens/Price/Waggoner Family Connections

BARRETT/GORDON: My great-great grandfather was RICHMOND BARRETT, of the Davidson Co.,NC. area. He was the son of JONATHAN BARRETT (ca 1757-1840) and MARGARET GILPIN(ca 1760-ca 1827) who were married in Prince Georges Co., MD on March 20,1779.The Barretts later settled in southern Indiana. The only information I have regarding the GORDON side is that my grandfater was RUDOLPH J. GORDON, who died in 1958. From stories I have heard, I will not be at all surprised if the Gordon branch is full of colorful characters.
PRICE/WAGGONER: I am anxious to get started on this side due to a connection to JEREMIAH BOONE. I have several written narratives given to me by my grandmother, WANDA ALENE WAGGONER OWENS but have been unable to spend the time on them necessary to understand the family connections.
