I am researching the Kiralfy roots, Imre Kiralfy, Bolossy, Haniola, Arnold, Roland, Kate, all arrived in the United States from Europe in the 1860's. They were accompanied by their father and mother, Jacob and Anna (Rosa).

Jacob and his wife came from Hungary, where they are believed to have had a clothing manufacturing business. In the 1847 - 1850 revolution they encountered problems and the name Kiralfy was adopted. It is believed the earlier family name was Konigsbaum

They lived in Pest, at that time it was not joined with Buda to form Budapest. It is thought that other relatives were in the same business field as Jacob including an Uncle, who was a lace and braid manufacturer.

Jacob's wife's maiden name was Weisbereger.

Any information, in particular about history before their departure from Hungary will be most welcome.
