| I am researching the following families. The OWENS family has it's US roots in KY but originally came from Ireland. The original spelling may have been O'WHENS. The CROCITTO AND CASTORO families came from the same town in Italy--Toritto, near Bari. At one time in the late 1800's some of the sons went to South America to work and some married wives there. OWENS: Researching OWENS, MINK, HERBERT, DUWE in Livingston,KY and Cincinnati,OH CROCITTO & CASTORO: Researching CROCITTO, CASTORO, INTROCASO, MERKLE, SACCENTE, AVOLESE, CANNAVO, SGARAMELLA, in New Jersey (Hackensack area), New York (originally Yonkers), Toritto,Italy, and Bahia Blanca, South America |
