| I am researching the Owens family who came to Alabama in the early 1800's. The oldest ancestor being Alberry Owens who was married in Perry County, AL in 1838. Also in the same family tree are the following families: Downey, Stephens, Seale, Jackson, Reeves, Bond, Kinard, Martin, Stokes, McCarter and Geddie, nearly all lived in Alabama. I am also researching the Vielle family from Maine. Other familues from Maine are the Packard and Stacy (Stacey) families. In addition, I have ancestors from Czechsolvakia: Kadlubar, Kral, Slovacek, Kocina. They came to the United States, via Galveston, in the early 1900's. Any help with any of these family lines would be greatly appreciated. |
