I am researching the Stallards from England, Lyons from Ireland and the McCabes from Cavan, Ireland.
The Stallards came to Western Australia arriving March, 1841.
The Lyons (Michael and Eleanor) came at the same time on the same ship "The Parkfield". John, first son of John Stallard, married Anne, the daughter of Michael Lyons and Hannah Walker.
John McCabe born in 1816 in Cavan, Ireland came to South Australia in the early to mid 1800's. Farmed at Carrieton, South Australia, went to NSW and back to SA. One of his sons, Michael Augustine Snr, came to Western Australia hence my entry into the family.
