The Surnames being researched on this home page are as follows: Joshua Thomas Elam bd: abt 1831 in VA. I am looking for any information on his father and mother and brothers and sisters. He came to Kentucky around 1847-48 and Married Margaret Hoage in Laurel Co. Ky. on Sept. 5, 1848. His son John Wesley Elam is my great grandfather. He was born in Laurel Co. Ky in 1852. I am also trying to locate census data on Joshua Thomas Elam and John Wesley Elam and their children. I know that Joshua Thomas was born in VA, but I don't know where in Va.
I am also researching the Deckers of Somerset Ky. Dr. Andrew McDonald Decker and his family. BD: January 15,1811. His father's name was Andrew Decker and his mother was Rhoda Hunt, their parents were George and Ailsey Decker.

Also any information on Eugene Richard Coone bd: July 16, 1856 in St. Louis Mo. and Mary Elizabeth Rickard BD:Jan 28, 1860 Rochester New York. Eugene Richards father was born in Germany and his mother was born in England. Mary Elizabeth Rickard's father was born in Ireland and her mother was born in Canada.
