The Idaho Oxfords

The Idaho Oxfords originated in Texas. My grandfather David W. Oxford was the son of James W. Oxford and Mary Bowers. Mary is listed in the 1900 Census as being born in France. Information about Mary will be greatly appreciated. David Married Martha (Mattie)Johnston in Jacksboro,Texas in 1886. There were three boys and three girls born to this marriage; John W., George M., Roy I., Donnie R., Mary F., and Emma. All are deceased. My father George M., was born in Benjamin,Texas on November 24, 1889. George Married Maude E. Lain(called Nadine) in Havre, Montana on May 20,1917. They moved to Northern Idaho in 1920. There were five boys and one girl born to this marriage. We are in the process of trying to tie in our ancestral lineage through James W., to Jacob, to Jonathan Lafayette, to Samuel Jr, and Samuel Sr. Any information will be appreciated and I will share any information I have.
