John F. Pelkey: He worked as a Ferris wheel operator, truck driver, at the phone and a soda co., and Chemical Paper Co. Then at Sonoco Paper Mill, where he retired at age 65. That I know of , soda and both paper mills are in Holyoke, Mass. The other two jobs where in Adams, where Mr.&Mrs. John Pelkey was living at the time. When they where living in Adams,they had Their first child, her name is Barbara Lee. They lived in Adams little while, then moved on to Northampton and Holyoke, where they sooner or later had 7 children. They had Barbara, Linda, David, Joan,John Jr. Charles, and William. Three girls and four boys. John Pelkey bought a house on 20 Pine Street, Easthampton, Mass sometime in 1966.

He came from a family of 15 children. At time of his sickness,stayed with brother John F. Pelkey at 80 Woodmont Rd. James was 41 years old at the time of his death. He was chief Pettie officer in the Navy. Worked at Westover A.F.B. and VA hospital Ingraham. He lived in Northampton for 35 years. He had a girl friend, Jenette, who was real good to him. He had a godchild, by the name of Barbara Lee Pelkey, He had no wife or children.
