Will of Allen Jones
WILL OF ALLEN JONES of Madison Co. TN Sept 14 1843
I Allen Jones do make and publish this my last will and testament herebyrevoking and making void all other wills made by me at anytime made.
I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon aftermy death as possible out of any moneys that I may be possessed of or may1st come into the hands of my executors.
2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Jones one sixth partof my estate real and personal to have during her natural life of widowhood.
3rd I give unto my son Turner Jones one sixth except 100.00 dollarswhich I have already given him in property.
4th I give unto my daughter Elizabeth E. Jones one sixth part of myestate
5th I give my son Henderson Jones one sixth part of my estate.
6th I give unto my son William Jones two Hundred dollars to be drawnout of my estate before it is divided and then I desire that he shall haveone sixth part of the balance.
7th I give unto my daughter Mary Ann Jones, one sixth of my estate.
8th I give unto Sarah Jones late wife of my son William Jones dec'd2 dollars this sum to be paid her and also the two hundred dollars to myson William Jones as above mentioned to be paid over to them before a divisionamong my heirs as above mentioned.
Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint my son Turner Jones and HendersonJones as my executors in witness whereof I do this my will set my handand seal this 14th day of Sept. 1843
Signed sealed and published in our presence and we have subscribed ournames hereto in the presence of the testor this 14 day Sept 1843.
