In accordance with the terms of Seth's will (d.1871)in the event of his son Edward Enos Padfield not reaching 21 years of age the property should be divided between Seth's siblings. Seth's wife Elizabeth (nee Cray) d.1870 and Edward passed away at 18 years in 1873. This document relates to the siblings conveying the property onto a Mr Strachey for £450 and may have well been the last time that James Padfield's(b.1791)& Mary's(nee Treasure)children met together before dispersing to Essex or passing away
