Do you have any "Padghams" in YOUR tree?



We have managed to trace our family back to William Padgham who lived in Wittersham, Kent, England. He was married to Ann Campbell (daughter of James Campbell) on 1st May 1788 in the presence of John Sisley. William died in 1800 and was buried in the churchyard at Wittersham.

The couple had 6 children:

Eleanor b.1789,
William b.1792,
Thomas b.1794,
John b.1796,
Joseph b.1798
Mary b.1799.

All the children were Baptised at Wittersham. We know that John eventually emigrated to Australia with his family.
