Our family has a history in the Rochester area since 1890 when GGgrandfather and family (on my Dad's side) immigrated from Germany. My mother's family can be traced back almost to the Mayflower, with closer generations living in the Naples area. I am still chasing down relatives. My wife's family is more complicated! With the help of family in Minnisota, we have her dad's family back to 562!! So far the Searcy line (her Mom's side) has been more difficult. We have been in contact with some cousins in Ala. but the trail ends there for now. |
