| I am currently researching my family history and would appreciate any information that anybody could give me about the following families: The DOUGLAS family came from Scotland, maybe through Canada and probably arrived in the New Jersey area in the mid to late 1800's. I believe that Thomas Bell Douglas was the first American. The DAKIDES family came from Salonika Greece in 1917 and settled in the New York City area. Stephanos and Ephrosyne Dakides were the first adults here. The HARLACHER family came from Budapest Hungary around the turn of the century and settled in New York City. Marie Elizabeth Nameth and Anthony Charles Harlacher were the first adults here. The PAGNOZZI family also came around the turn of the century and settled in New Jersey. The only name I have connected with them is Richard Joseph Pagnozzi who lived in Bergin New Jersey and later moved to Babylon, Long Island. They may have come from Paranoro Italy. I would really appreciate any information and I would be more than happy to send any information I've collected |
