I have been searching hard, long, high and low for the many branches that belong to this history tree. The roots are strong and deeply rooted with branches that are heavy with many names. While other branches are more on the weak side, leaving us to see through the leaves.

Surnames include Dameron, Shepherd, Pagliolo, McNeely, Sias, Plumley, Atkins, Chambers, Brooks, and the list goes on. The trouble I am having now is with William Rankin Shepherd born somewhere between 1857 and 1863. This man seems to have, alone, spread the seed for the tree. He has fathered sixteen children. The Shepherds hold a family reunion every year at the Gibsonville Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Gibsonville, North Carolina. If any of you feel you may know this family, feel free to email me at any time.

Please, if you can, help this tree continue to grow and strengthen. I have one branch that I have been able to trace back to the year of 1480 from Ireland. Very exciting!
