| I am John Edward Page, part of the original Pages of Virginia. In addition my grandmother's family is the family of Augustine Moore (The Moore House, Yorktowne, VA). The Moore House was the historic house where George Washington laid out out the plan for the surrender of the British. I am the 3rd cousin of George Washington.I am researching information on any of the following surnames:Page, Dryden, Moore, Hunt, Forrest, Shield. I have completed research on over 5,000 names that was completed by my Grandmother May Estelle Edwards in 1965-1973. Over 300 surnames from York County, VA are listed.ATTN: My main goal is to find the connection between Gov. John Page and the Rosewell Pages (ie. Mann Page) Lokking for a connection between them and William Page B. abt. 1803. He married Rachel Messick.
