Married Sarah Jane Wallen (or Benson, Walden or Waldon) in Joplin, Missouri, 1883-84. They parented Martha Jane, Charles Robert, Bessie (Sarah Elizabeth?), Jack Clarence and John Allen. Sarah Jane Wallen (or Benson, Walden or Waldon) was daughter of Elizabeth Gledden (or Geadden) and unknown Benson. She was born on Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina and had two sisters named Welman and Collie (or Cole). Elizabeth left the NC reservation in 1877 with the three girls and went to Whitfield County, Georgia, where she married Robert McComey (McCormack) Wallen (or Walden or Waldon) on October 17, 1877. He had a son named George from first marriage. Elizabeth and her daughters are on Dawes and MillerIndian rolls under surname of Wallen and/or Waller but they may have been on Eastern Cherokee reservation roll earlier.
