I am searching for information on the following families in my family tree:- Eisenman, Randall,Waterson, Aites, McMillan in western Pennsylvania, particularly Clarion County, from 1700 to 1900. Jakob Eisenman was born in Rotweil, Germany in 1748, emmigrated to the USA and died in Clarion County, PA in 1791. His son Joseph Eisenman married Catherine Randall of Greenville, PA in 1840. Her family farm is the current site of downtown Pittsburgh. Their son, James Shepherd Eisenman married Mary Mathilda Aites, born in 1863 in Tylersburg, Pa Mary Aites mother was Mary Waterson Aites, who had seven siblings,including James, William, and Peter Waterson, all of whom served in the Civil War.- Morley in Hull, England and in Youngstown, Ohiofrom 1800 to 1940.I am searching for descendents of John Morley, either in the USA or in Engalnd. John Morley was born in northern England around 1818. His wife's maiden name may have been Campbell. He had four children Jane, John, Polly, and James. Jane and James descendents came to the USA, settling near Youngstown, Ohio. John and Polly Morley remained in England. John was in the Royal Navy. Polly married Alfred Douglas and had three children, Theodora, Lilly, and Agnes.- Strauss in Republic, Tiffin, and Cleveland, Ohio from 1870 to 1990. Albert Augustus Strauss was born in Baden, Germany in the mid- 1800's and came to the USA around 1870. He and his wilf Christine had seven children, Amelia, Tilly, Edward, Bert, Louis, Edwin, and Emma.- Mitchell and Haucke/Hauke/Hawke in Cincinnati and southern Ohio from 1800 to 1950. George Mitchell married Annie Haucke around 1880. Annie had five brothers, Clarence, Frank, Fritz, Henry, and JohnI also have information on all of these families if anyone is interested in comparing family geneology. | |
