This lists the reported father of Johan Emil to be Lieutenant Von Holst of Westergotland and the mother as Charlotta Lants, unmarried. Westergotland is an area like a Provence and is comprised of two "Lans" or counties, one of which is Skarborgs Lan, which is adjacent to the county of Jonkoping.
He was with the Livergments Husarer of Orebro and Skaraborgs Lan from 1851 through 1858. He became a Ryttmastare (Expert Horseman) in 1870, an RSO in 1872, and retired March 13, 1883. He owned Skortsby in Viby sn. (Og.)
The recorded history of the family does not indicate a marriage for Sven Ingemar Holst. He is listed on the Parish records of Trystrop in Orebro County with his parents and siblings from the time of his birth until he left there in 1866 to move to Viby.

Notes for Charlotta Johannesdotter Landt:
Charlotta Johannesdotter Landt was born in 1836 the second child of four children to Johannes Peterson Landt and his wife Greta Andersdotter while living on the farm, Fagerhult, of the Village of Stromberg, located in Ljungarum Parish of Jonkoping County in Sweden.
She used the last name of Lants on the birth record of Johan Emil in 1859, however, this was an assumed name or a misspelling. Her father did take and retained his military name of Landt, and she used that spelling thought her life.
Charlotta is listed on Johan Emil's birth record as an unmarried girl, age 23, with the father reported to be Lieutenant Von Holst of Westergotland, a Province which includes the county Skaraborg. Charlotta's mother, Greta Andersdotter, was born in 1800 in the county of Skaraborg, the home of her ancestors. This county is adjacent to Jonkoping County.
Charlotta lived at home, but traveled to the city of Jonkoping in 1855 for a short stay. She returned home in 1856, but left in November of 1858 with her sister, Johanna. She was pregnant at the time. She gave birth to Johan Emil in March of 1859 in Jonkoping.
Charlotta worked as a maid or cleaning lady in the theater district of Jonkoping to support herself and her child, Johan Emil, until he was 15 when he moved away from her care. She never had any more children nor married. My last research of her was when she was 52 years old and still living in Jonkoping Kristina Parish but moved out in 1878.
