I am researching the Palmateer family. They came to Canada from Germany through Ireland settling in southern Ontario from Brighton to Bancroft in the early 1800's.My great grandfather, Sanford Palmateer, is believed to have been born in Canada.I am also researching the Graham family which came to Canada from Northern Ireland also in the mid 1840's.My great, great great grandfather, believed to be John Graham, died on the ship bringing him, his wife, Mary, 5 sons and 3 daughters to Canada.Mary settled near Enniskillen, Ontario. Any information would be greatly appreciated.I am prepared to share the information which I already have.
