Notes for GEORGE COOPER:
I printed what I have on the Cooper Family. The lineage begins with George A. Cooper born 04-26-1895 born in (they think) Chatooga County, Ga, he married Ethel Goff in Jackson County, Al around 1920. They are both buried in the Mtn. Home Cemetery located in Ider, Al. Their children: Raymond Willie, Ruby, Emma Ruth, George Alvin, Leonard L, Gurtha Louise, Billy Eugen, James Reece........Ruby is the only one of these children which has/had an intelligent thought process. George Alvin or Leonard was shot by his wife, I do not know which one. They lived in Jackson County, I think out on the Mountain. Maybe late 40's or 50's they moved to Summerville, Ga. I will send you the lineage I have for them. Maybe you can make a connection with your Coopers. I haven't researched George A. Cooper. Ethel was my Father's half sister. My Father was not a Goff.
