Family Research of Williams, Horrobin and Johnson, Smith families
of Lancashire, England.
Edwin James Williams of Birkenhead, Liverpool migrated to Australia in the early 1900's and so did Arthur Henry Horrobin of Bolton, Lancashire. Their wives arrived a little later, and, as fate would have it, were on the same ship. Edwin's wife, Emily Elizabeth had her children with her whereas Martha Ann Horrobin was childless. Later in Sydney, Martha Ann gave birth to a daughter Iris and she married Edwin and Emily's youngest child Alfred. I am their eldest daughter and I have started to take the interesting journey into researching who they were and who their family was.
Of course, this research isn't finished yet but these are the results so far.
