Hello all. Welcome to my family web page. The intent is to share with all family members and other interested parties the results of family research to date. I, together with Emily Vrattos, Jennie Kleary and other family members, continue to research and discuss the family history of Theodore Kolokotronis and all his descendents. We, and all others outlined in the Genealogy Report (see below) are direct descendents of Kolokotronis through the lineage of his son Andoni. The Report starts with the grandfather of Theodore Kolokotronis, Yiannis Kolokotronis and traces descendents down to today. It covers 10 generations!
Trace our lineage as follows: Yiannis Kolokotronis (1) to Constandinos Kolokotronis (2) to General Theodoros (5) to Andoni Kolokotronis (9) to Theodoros Kolokotronis (10) to Harilaos Kolokotronis (13), etc. Good luck. Call me or email me if you have any questions.
In addition I am also researching the Papailias family (Pappailiopoulos) of Arcourdorema, Greece and Vourloumi family of Kertezi, Greece. Georgios Yiannis (George John) Papailias was born in 1872 and immmigrated to this country along with his wife Anastasia in 1916. Before coming to America, Georgios fought in the Boar War in South Africa on the side of the English at the turn of the 20th century. He used the name George Lawn.
Any additional information you have or corrections would be appreciated. The more information the better. I am willing to share what I have. I plan to do a family book. Digitals pictures and any stories you have to share are more than welcomed. It is my hope and desire to insure our story is passed on to those that come after us.
Thank you.
(Family Update: My sister Tasia passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007 at the age of 56 after a long illness. She was a "peach of a hand".
