Searching for any and all information on families with the following surnames: Ikner, Riley, Nolan, McNabb. Especially interested in the families located in and around central Michigan; Ionia, Grand Rapids, etc.
My father, John Ikner, was born in Detriot. He had a twin brother, James.

My Grandfather, James Ikner, worked for the railroad in central Michigan. My Grandmother, Alice, nee Riley was also a Michigan native and had several brothers and sisters.

My Great-grandfather, John, was also employed by the railroad. My great-grandmother, Bridget, nee Nolan, was born in Ireland I believe. They lived for many years in Ionia, MI.

The earliest mention of the IKNER surname was in the Federal Census of 1790. I have no information between 1790 and my Great-grandparents in the mid 1800's. I would be most gratefull for any information you might wish to share.
