I have compiled a huge amount of documentation from census, legal documents, land records,family bible, pictures and letters. Everything in my family tree has been verified. Should you disagree, please contact me! As of February 2007, I have been able to trace back on my father's side (Brown) back to 1802. The family story passed from generation to generation is that we are from Ireland but it is not true. I have John E Brown's death certificate and he was born in New York and I know the exact place. The 1870 census lists his mother living with him. Her name was Lydia Longbottom age 68. Perhaps the Longbottom was a second marriage. Also, John's second wife was Anna Andrews(not our line)his first wife Abigail is my line although I have extensive histories of both lines. My main aim right now is the Brown side. I have been successful with many other lines of mine and my husband's. I believe, that if we share, we will all meet our goal to find our original roots. My goal is to find the exact country & town or village, my ancestors and my husband's came from. Feel free to contact me as I am willing to share, I have more information not listed and quite a few pictures of different lines. NO UPDATES HAVE BEEN DONE SINCE 2007 JUST A CORRECTION.
