Christopher John Parsons Fax: 08700633836 | My name is Chris Parsons. My currant interest is in tracing the maternal side of my ancestry, Specifically the name Mulliss. My maternal grandfather was the son of Richard Bailey Mulliss,1821 -1896, who in turn was the son of Richard Bailey Mulliss (1). Richard Bailey Mulliss(1) 1798-1832, had 7 children, G.Mulliss,1814 -?, D. Mulliss 1816-?, Mirium Mulliss 1812-1851, S.Mulliss 1824 - ?, John Mulliss 1828 -?, Richard Bailey Mulliss,1821-1896 and another Mulliss for whom I have no name, born 1832. I have many original documents which has enabled me to identify these people, but I have no information beyond this. The name 'Mulliss' is not common but does exist with variations in its' spelling, e.g. Mullis. Other than the line from my Grandfather John Mulliss, 1867-1946, back to Richard Bailey Mulliss (1) I know nothing of the issue of the other 6 children born to Richard Bailey Mulliss (1). So far as this branch of the family is concerned, the name Mulliss died with my Uncle, Francis Richard Mulliss, 1898-1998. If anyone has any information I would be grateful. |
