Notes for NANCY ELLEN ODOM:
The children of NANCY ELLEN ODOM and WILLIAM FRANCIS ASHLEY were BERTHA, ETHEL and LEONA
the boys were LEE and OLIVER. Ethel was a twin but the other child did not survive at the time of birth. This family never made any distinction as far as not all being from the same parents, according to
Ethel and Leona. But JESSE LEE was born to a first wife. We have not documented her information at this time. It is believed to be Ida Percefull.
We know it would be a first wife because Ethel and Leona both say they remembered when their mother died and not long after that their dad died. We went back to the cemetery where they were buried not too long before Ethel passed away.
