Notes for HARRISON BAGGERLY FERGUSON:
Harrison served in the Civil War in Company F, 126th Regiment of N.Y. Infantry and recived a commision as Second Lieutenant. He was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness and until the end of the War held a position as clerk in the War Deparatment at Wasington, DC.

DEATH. On Tuesday, August 1st, Mr. John W. Ferguson, in the 42nd year of his age. The funeral will take place tomorrow, (Thursday) at 3 o'clock, from the Methodist Protestant Church, on Virginia avenue, near the Navy Yard. ( 2 AUG 1854)
