      3. Maggie Wilson, born June 1861 in Maryland ¹⁰; died 02 August 1932 in Washington, DC ¹¹. She was the daughter of 6. Charles A. Wilson and 7. Mary Ann Godfrey.

Notes for James F. Milstead:
James had 3 brothers according to his bible. They were Edwin D. b 12/25/1860, George b 6/31/1867, Emet (Emmett) b 4/14/1870.

According to the DC Directory for 1889. James lived at 1114 NJ Ave, SE, with Emmett. James was a lithographer and Emmett was a bricklayer. I am assuming that Betty (my grandmother) lived there also as she was born 1/29/1889.

According to Boyds Directory for Washington, DC dated 1893 Emmett was living at 623 MD Ave, SW. He would have been 23 at the time.

James is buried at Congressional Cemtery, in Washington DC. He was interred on September 27, 1891

MILSTEAD, Departed this life September 26, 1891 at 5:30 p.m., JAMES T. MILSTEAD; beloved husband of Maggie M. Milstead, aged thirty one years, one month, and fourteen days, leaving one child.

From sickness, pain and sorrow. My darling husband free. I could not give him up to anyone but thee BY HIS WIFE

Funeral Services will be held at the Methodist Church Fifth Street, at 4 p.m. Tuesday Evening.
