Benjamin Berkeley Gill was born 16 August, 1886 in Washington, DC. He was a Captain in the Army during World War I. He married Betty Milstead in 1907. They had three children, Marvin Berkeley Gill b 1908, Margaret Blanche b 1913 and Elizabeth Catherine Gill b 1915.
