Note that spelling can be Havener/Heavner/Hevener.
According to Cutright's History of Upshur Co., Nicholas emigrated to America sometime before May 20, 1755 (date shown on purchase of 600 acres of land on the "Southernmost Branch of the Potomac River"). His naturalization paper is dated May 18, 1761.

Children of Nicholas Havener are:

Jacob Heavner, married Mary Mallow.

Notes for Frederick Heavner:
Appears (according to Cutright's history) to have served under Capt. Jame Patterson in Pennsylvania during the Revolution (paper is dated Feb. 27, 1795).
