Roy was a twin of Ray. They had bright red hair.
They were in the Army in World War I and in the Argonne Forest when the Armistice was signed. However, Roy was wounded November 10, 1918 and Ray was killed at that time.

Notes for Ray Tilman Crader:
Ray and Roy were twin brothers. They were in Argonne Forest together; Ray was killed in action and Roy was wounded on November 11, 1918. Ray was in Company H. Roy did not get to leave France until April, 1919.
Both twins had bright red hair.
Ray's child, Guy Tilman, was adopted and raised by his parents, Daniel F. and Sarah E. Ellen Crader.

Farmer/Electrician/State Service Officer, State of MO.
Worked at Naval Shipyard in Charleston, SC during WWII.
Was in WWI and was gassed with mustard gas. Caused TB and lung problems, but he recovered. Received a $50 month pension. Would never spend it. This helped him to start electrical business in Jackson, MO.
Lived on the farm until 1936, then moved to Jackson, MO. Later on, moved to CA to be near their children.
