Hi!I am a newcomer to the genealogy game so excuse any mistakes that I make.I am researching my mom's family of which little is known.Her father was John Douglas Andrews, whose mom died at an early age.He believed his dad's name was James Allen/Alan Andrews but was not sure.John Douglas Andrews thought he was born in Lake Charles, Louisana but we cannot find any proof of this.As he died in 1956 (after he had his own birth certificate made) we are unsure of what else to do.He lived and died in Crockett, Texas.My mom was 7 years old when her mom died but her dad remarried.He was unsure about a lot of data concerning his mom and dad so we do not know where to turn.
