America Jane Moore was born February 11, 1825, probably in Ohio, and died November 11, 1917. She was married to Peter Augustus "Ogeese" Captain until his death in 1877. She later married Luther Appleby and became known as Aunt Jane Appleby, the Cattle Queen of Oklahoma.
