I am trying to have as much information about our children's ancestors for them to have and known from where they came. My father, Clarence Philpot was born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1924(moved to Texas at approx. 16 yr); his father was Bradley Philpot(born in Manchester, KY in 1897 and married Virgie Ray (born in 1903 in Bushy Creek, KY), grandfather was Jerry Philpot (born in Clay Cty, Ky in 1874 and married Maggie Cheeks/Chicks), his father was Pleasant Philpot (married Yeaton/Yeadon/Benge), then Henderson Philpot, John Thomas Philpot (born in Buncombe Co before 1850 and married Nancy Jane Bates), then John Philpot (born 1740 possibly in Kent, Engand married Mary "Molly" Woods), and Charles Philpot.
My mother, Josephine Pirkl was born in Ammansville, Tx in 1921. Her parents were: Joseph Pirkl and Filomena Janacek. Joe Pirkl's (born in 1897) mother was Anna Klekar, her mother was Annie Vavra (came from Czechoslavia). Filomena Janacek's (born in 1900) father was Adolph Janacek (born 1965)and mother was Anna Fiser/Fisher/Fischer, whose father was Peregrin Fiser (born in 1829 and arrived in America in 1875 and married Filomena Vacek (parents were Josef Vacek, Sr and Magdalena Schriber - both of whom immigrated from Bohemia, Czechoslovakia in 1872 and settled in Ammansville, Tx in 1876.
My husband, Charlie Earl Parker, Jr.'s, father is Charlie Parker (born in 1925 and married Phyllis Ryder), his father was Charlie Duffield Parker (born in 1899 in Houston, Tx and married Ruth DeMoss), his father was Charles Duffield Parker (born in Philadelphia, Pa in 1861 and married Ollie Adella Johnson), his father was Hollis Gardner Parker (married Laura Goodrich), Major Lewis Parker (born in Westborough in 1787 ), Issac Parker (born in Shrewbery, Ma in 1750 and married Margery Maynard), Amos Parker (born in 1723 in Lexington, Ma and married Anna C. Stone), Andrew Parker, John Parker (born in 1664 and married Deliverance Dodge), Hanniah Parker, Deacon Thomas Parker, John Parker (born in Lttle Norton, Eng. Ruth DeMoss' father was Charlie Fannin DeMoss (born 1877 and married Lottie Gale), his father was George Washington DeMoss (married Elizabeth Childs), George William DeMoss (born in Missouri and moved to Texas), Charles DeMoss, Peter Demoss, Louis III Demoss, Louis II, and Count Louis Damas.
My husband's mother is Phyllis Ryder whose parents were Gerald Ford Ryder and Gladys Marion Stockwell. Gerald Ford Ryder's (born in 1906 in Nantucket,MA) father was Stephen L. Ryder (born in 1881 and married Evelyn Macy Taber), his father was Edmund Z. Ryder. Elevyn Macy Taber's parents were John Palmer Taber, Jr. (father was John Palmer Taber and Delphina Sylvia) and Ella Provost (father was Nelson Provost-born in Springfield, MA, his father was James Provost) mother was Delia Dunham (born in 1838 in Nantucket, MA), her father was George Dunham, Ebenezer Dunham, Ebenezer Dunham, Sr, Benejah Dunham (born in 1687 in Plymouth, MA), Joseph Dunham (born in 1635 and married Hester Wormell), Deacon John Dunham (born in 1588 in Scrooby, Nottinghamski, Eng. and married Abigail Barlow), Thomas Dunham. Delia Dunham's mother was Diana Denson, mother was Susan Chase, father was Maribah Chase, mother was Patience Walker, mother was Sarah Snow (married William Walker), mother was Constance Hopkins and her father was Stephen Hopkins (both came to America on the Mayflower in 1620).
