In this clearing is where my 5th Great Grandparents, Ebenezer Park, Sr. (1747-1839) and wife, Tabitha Mills (1752-1826) house sat near Cabin Creek, Davidson Co., NC (near Jackson Hill Township). This land still remains the way it looked then--nearly 200 years ago. Tragically, vandals burned this deserted homestead to the ground on Halloween 1999, but they could not take away the serene land that upon which they once walked!
