Here are the portraits of my 3rd Great Grandparents, Mary Minerva Park(1822-1909), daughter of Eli Park and Winnaford Dillingham, and Richard Cobb, Sr. (1818-1900). Thanks to my father, William Henry Park II (1930- )for helping us gain access to the vacant house belonging to Minerva McAllister-Jett (in nursing home after suffering stroke) and for taking these priceless photographs of these once, long, lost portraits in Lexington, KY on our latest Expedition (3rd)to Kentucky on 17-23 April 01. Even at 76, Mary was a beautiful woman. Richard had deep blue eyes and stood 6'2" tall. Mary's birthday was 4 May....she would be 179 years old this year. She and Richard were married for 58 years before his death in 1900. Both are buried in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Lincoln County in Sanford and not far from the Boyle County border and Danville, KY where my Aunt lives (Martha Park-Lamb).
