My 8th Great Grandfather, Dr. Roger Parke, Sr. was baptized here on 25 June 1648. This beautiful church was founded in 1188 and is still active today in Lancashire County, England (Northern England). Roger Parke migrated to Hopewell, NJ in 1682 with William Penn to begin my line in America. From there, descendants of Roger and wife, Ann Pattison, migrated to Frederick and Hampshire Counties VA(1735); Rowan Co., NC(1772); and into Madison, KY(1796).
