Descendants of Fowler and Passmore

Updated December 10, 2004

I am researching TONEY/Tony FOWLER [b 1852 MS--1939 AR], who was my great grandfather. I would like to state that there is no proof that he is a son of Nimrod B. Fowler of Carroll Co., MS. However, because of stories handed down and similar names and locations; it does seem plausible. Also, there is no proof that his name was ever George Long Fowler. Other surnames included are WATSON, FERGUSON, MORRIS, HART, DAUGHERTY, LUSBY & DUNCAN.

Also, I am researching JAMES PASSMORE [1790 VA--aft. 1820 IN]. He died in Posey Co., IN and his wife, Elizabeth Neald, remarried in 1823 to Benjamin Clark. Two sons & a daughter traveled to TN and then settled in Stone Co. and Searcy Co., AR. Other surnames included are GRIGSBY, BRANSCUMB, FREDERICK, THOMPSON, BROOKS, MCCALL, BRUNER, & MCLISH.

Any clues and/or information would be appreciated. I would be glad to share with you what I have found in my research.
