| The surnames we are researching for Robert's family are: McDaniel (Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas & California) & Haney (Arkansas & Texas). The surnames we are researching for Margie's family are: Pasma (Netherlands), Johnston (Canada, ND,MN) and Ahern (Canada,MN). Since Robert's parents were both in an orphanage in Texas as children, it has been a challenge to find any information about their families. With some luck and the wonderful help of a few "special" people we have met on the internet, we have been able to start putting the story together. We still have a ways to go but we are not in a hurry and plan on keeping our search open for as long as we can. We want to have as much information as possible to pass down to other family members.
