Eric Erickson (son of Erik Eriksson) was born November 15, 1833 in Ostervala, Vasteras County, Sweden, and died April 02, 1922 in Ostervala, Vasteras County, Sweden. He married Christina Erlandstotter on October 30, 1859.
Notes for Eric Erickson: Eric Moved to Gavle (Gafle) on October 31, 1866 with his wife, three sons (Erik, Karl Erland, and Johan) and one daughter (Maria Catherina). He was a tenant at Cathrineborg which was a small farm owned by a Captain Bostrom. The farm was situated in the present day harbour area and was used as a recreation and summer-home area for many upper-class citizens of Gavle. Sometime between 1871 and 1875 he moved from that northeastern location to an area in the southwestern part of Gavle known as Skogmur. In 1888 he returned to Horrskog, Ostervala. After his wife's death he moved to Aby no.1 (circa 1907) and lived in a little cottage behind Eklund's grocery shop. He worked as a carrier (Swedish - Akare).
