| I am Mark Patty and I am researching my family tree. The main line that I am researching is Patty. At this point the oldest confirmed member is Charles Patty who was born around 1813 in South Carolina and married a woman only known as Nancy. He had about 10 children one of which was John Patty who moved to Alabama and married Martha Thomas who I believe was from GA. Most of the Patty line lived in the Cherokee/ Calhoun (Benton)/and Cleburne Counties of Alabama The other lines that I am researching are Ayers/Ayres which lived mainly in the Lamar/Fayette county area of Alabama. I will be more than happy to share my research with anyone, and if you have anything to add Please let me know. |
