The Ancestors and Relatives of Bruce Paulson of Suring,WIUpdated August 31, 2008 |

| As a child I could never get an answer as to where in the world my ancestors came from. I was told that the Swedes came from Stockholm, the Danish ancestors from Copenhagen and the Germans from Berlin. It seemed that those who crossed the Atlantic didn't bother to tell their children about the small villages of Grevie in Kristianstad County, Sweden, Berga in Kronoberg, Sweden, Ammendrup in Allerslev,Pręstų. Denmark, Selchow and Marienthal in kreis Greifenhagen, Pommern, Prussia or Kolmar, Jankendorf and Busdin in kreis Kolmar, Posen, Prussia. In nearly forty years of research I have, with the exception of the locations in Pommern, been able to find out the names of my ancestors and relatives, and would like to share my findings with other relatives who might wonder where in the world their ancestors came from. My current project is finding every relative my paternal grandfather had in and around Grevie parish, Kristianstad County, Sweden. To date, there are over 11,000 names, and the search continues. Best wishes to all who find a relative or ancestor in my files, and I would like to hear from you. Bruce Paulson 123 E. Main 2B Gillett, WI 54124 920-855-1161 Cell 715-850-1765 |
