  Contributed by Ruth MacLennan (nee Ruth Pawsey) Our father was the eighth son of Arthur & Rose Pawsey and was born in 1885 at Tunbridge Wells, now part of London . He always said that by the time he arrived, his parents had run out of double names for their many sons so he rated only one, ‘Donald’, they must have regained their expertise for later they came up with ‘Philip Sidney’ and ‘Roger Henry’, and those younger ones also came and stayed in Canada.
