My wife and I are researching Payne, Newell, Smith and Lemon family lines. We are just getting started and will provide further information later.
Looking for information on John Alexander Payne. We think he was born in or was from Kentucky. He was married to Nancy Jane Hillary. He died about 1862, and buried in Tipton Mo. They had three children, 1) Sarah Ann, 2) James, 3)Warren.

Looking for information pertaining to Lemon lines. Some known information is my wifes father was Willie Robert Lemon, born April 18, 1901 in Pond Creek Ok., died March 26, 1970, Enid Ok. Son of William Walter Lemon, probably born in Ind. Appears to have been married to Helen May Hughes. Son of Joseph Martin Lemon, born Sept. 10, 1850 in Anderson Ind.,died March 16, 1920 in Anthony, Ks., married to Lucinda Kelly about 1871.
