Hello....I'm a rank beginner trying to find information on The Payne family, of North Texas.The Paynes possibly migrated from Kentucky.Also the Palmer family, of North Texas, from whence came my paternal grandmother, Martha Adolphous Palmer.Also seeking information on the Smalley family, which included my maternal grandmother, Ruby Smalley.And lastly, the Scarborough family, of Oklahoma.Royal Rex Scarborough was Chief of Police in Muskogee sometime during the 1920's, and the family was supposedly traced by another person to England.Family legend has it that one of Roy's ancestors founded Scarborough, England.Thanks for any assistance or information you can offer.
