| Humberto J Paz(aka; Hugh Paz), descended from Jose Encarnation Paz-Cerda and Jovita Garay-Zuniga. Concepcion Olga Buchanan(aka; Olga Buchanan), descended from Adolph Felix Buchanan and Ernestina Bivar-Nava. Humberto's great-great grandfather was Jose Damacio de la Paz of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Humberto's father, Jose Encarnacion Paz-Cerda, was also born (and raised) in Monterrey,Nuevo Leon, Mexico. When he attained adulthood, Jose Encarnacion migrated to El Paso, Texas; it was here that he met and married Jovita Garay-Zuniga. The year of their marriage is unknown, but estimated to be from 1903 to 1906. Humberto's Mother, Jovita Garay-Zuniga was born and raised in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico; her parents were Francisco Antonio Garay and Maria Manuela Zuniga. Olga's grandfather was James Buchanan, Jr. of Ysleta, Texas. Olga's mother, Ernestina Bivar-Nava was born and raised in Gomez Palacios, Durango or Torreon, Coahuila; both states situated in Mexico. Humberto (aka Hubert and/or Hugh), and his wife Olga, currently reside in Eureka, California, USA. |
