| William Henry Pearson was born in 1812 in Stockport England.He married Emma Cross who bore him 9 children:Edwin(my great- grandfather)b.1833,Eliza b.1835,Charles b.1837,Sara Jane b.1839, Mary Ann b.1842,Thomas Cross b.1844,William b.1847, Peter Henry b.1849,and Henry b.1852. Edwin Pearson emigrated to Australia where he married Ann Booth in 1857. In 1861 their daughter Ann Emily was born. The same day Ann Booth Pearson died. A grieving Edwin left his daughter in the care of her Uncle Edward and returned to England. He never saw his daughter again. Ann Pearson married James Capuano in 1878 and they had 17 children;the descendants of whom, I am happy to say, are part of my family. Edwin emigrated to America in the early 1860's and married Hanorah Fitzgerald of County Kerry Ireland. My grandfather Edwin was their son. Edwin Pearson II married Mildred Perkins and together they had 5 children. My father Jerome Bruce was the next to youngest. I would like to find the descendants of Henry and Emma's other children. I will gladly share information. |
