Papa Stout - Howard, is someone else that I had in my life. Mama and Papa lived in a house up the driveway behind us on Payne Rd. in New Albany (Indiana) for a few years. We'd be up there a lot with him and Mama. I remember he had thick, wavy hair he'd like us to comb. He always wanted Mama to have beans and biscuits. he liked Ed Sullivan and Lawrence Welk on TV. He played the fiddle (violin). He always called Mama "Hon". Later, they moved to Bloomington, Indiana and then to Florida. He died October 1971 of a heart attack and was 59.
