Silas was a Civil War Veteran for the 152nd Ohio Vol. Infantry Co. E, Darke County. His parents were Abel Insco Pearson and Sarah Coppock. Susannah's parents were John Coate and Martha Rudy.

    Here is a picture of the Mobberly Quaker Cemetery in England where Lawrence and Elizabeth Pearson ( 1607-1673, and unknown-1662 respectively), are buried. Lawrence and Elizabeth Pearson are our forebears some 7 to 9 generations back, (depending on which of the current Living generation you are a member of). Lawrence is a son of Edward Peeresone ca 1575, of Cheshire England.

    This is a picture of the Lynchgate at the Church of St. Bart. It is through this lynchgate that the casket of Edward Peeresone would have passed through during his burial in 1648.

    Here is a picture of the Church of St. Bart., in Cheshire England. Before the Pearsons converted to Quakerism, this was the parish church. Edward is buried in the cemetery alongside this church in 1648.
